Wikileaks vs Mayawati!!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on Tuesday slammed, infact crossed swords, with “Anti-secrecy website” Wikileaks,

Whose founder Julian Assange portrayed her as a person with a “penchant for personal corruption” and “a strong authoritarian streak” . The cable released by Wikileaks is hinting at the corruption brewing inside our political system. It shows how our great political leaders are misusing their powers and even government funds .

The diplomatic cable which has led to a war between Mayawati and Assange shows the exploited self of the UP Chief minister . It portrays all the negative things about the leader. It refers to Mayawati’s “eccentric paranoia” and her obsession of becoming Prime Minister.

The cables says that “When she needed new sandals, her private jet flew empty to Mumbai to retrieve her preferred brand.” According to Lucknow journalists, “she employs nine cooks (two to cook, the others to watch over them) and two food tasters.” The recently released cable also stated that “She fears assassination and demanded from the central government the highest level of protection available. In addition to this outsized security apparatus, she constructed a private road from her residence to her office, which is cleaned immediately after her multiple vehicle convoy reaches its destination.”

These are sweeping allegations that are being made against Mayawati, the Dalit leader.

The angry and highly upset Chief Minister requested the government of his country to send Assange to a mental asylum. She even acussed him of being linked with the opposition parties. She defended herself by saying that this is a “malicious campaign” which is being carried out against her honest government. She also said in an interview that she won’t be deterred by these false claims and will not allow anybody to defame the honest UP government.
