Wrong…is it really wrong…??

Wrong…is one of the harshest words in an English dictionary….one of the most unwanted word in a student’s life…and in reality nobody likes to hear it.
According to Oxford dictionary…wrong means incorrect, in error, undesirable etc…etc.
But what actually is wrong…??
Is it really wrong…??
Can’t it be right at the same time….??
This is because most of the people only know literally meaning of the wrong. But just like a coin has two sides….so has the word wrong…the situational side of wrong. A situational wrong is nothing but a situation of course…where what maybe wrong for one….may not be wrong for other. It is just a game of one’s perception…level of understanding and attitude. Confused..?? Here are few examples…
• Spreading terror in the name of religion maybe wrong for us…but for terrorist it is protecting their religion.
• Setting up quota system and reservations in every field maybe wrong in the eyes of general public…but for OBC’s it is their right.
• Begging may seem wrong to the society…but for poor people it is their source of living.
And there are many examples….
Just like two people can’t have same personality…similarly this side of wrong can’t be judged. That’s just because…no stage in life is constant. People grow everyday…their understanding towards life changes…and as the time passes…so does their definition of wrong. Some people might even adopt the officially declared wrong paths as right track of living also…hence it is a relative concept.
So…the next time you judge and declare a person as wrong…always take a look at the situation behind him….who knows…you might even change your decision…

Pocket filling politics

Calling on Corruption! Calling on Revolution! Calling on Fast!

The three different glimpse of an empty Indian political jug that has nothing more left in it. Some have went ahead to refill the jug while others have gone on a strike which includes the fancy hunger-cum Anna/Bapu way.
Recently the Union Cabinet Minister who are often designated with ‘honorable’ have disclosed their portfolio of assets. It strictly depicts the progress and a shinning India campaign. The Civil-Aviation Minister Praful Patel has recently shown in public, on an average wealth of half-a-million to his assets in just 28 months the time he held that minister. Contrary to it, Air India has been crying over some split milk! They are struggling to even pay their workers with a basic salary.

During the 2009, Praful Patel had an asset worth of 79 crores while Rs122 crores in 2011. It happens to be some basic mathematics. Nearly,5 lakh a day. It strictly cut seals the argument made by Aruna Roy against the Planning Commission. While some have debated Rs32 or Rs25 for a daily wage laborers the minister are widely filling up their pockets.

Who says Corruption?
No, this is not corruption in my dictionary. Corruption is basically the art of illegal activities that happen unnoticed. Praful Patel and several others have made sure we expose that remains unexposed.
He didn’t do any wrong. We knew it long since 2009 asset deceleration to the present one. Simultaneously we all read, shared and debated on the labor unrest at Air India. The Patel story was left unnoticed just nothing more than a blind eye.
Fancy Anshans
From the Green to the Telecom and the Fast revolution that revolutionizes another mystery of what it being all about. Certainly, the food and telecom had provided enough development and growth while the revolution of hunger just gives a deadly weapon in the hands of the public.
The pilots have just added some more strikes while calmly Patel have filled his pocket all high. Being Blind is all we could do for now.
New Fabrics
The story doesn’t end here. The young leaders who are a master of management or rather some MBA tag-holders have already joined the party. Milind Deora who holds the Ministry For Communication and Technology has almost doubled his portfolio of assets within two years. From Rs.17 crores to Rs.33 crores in 2011. The Young Indian intellects have told us all about our future. A future where everything is dim under a 100watt blub.

Let’s Think

Neither more or less, are we deceiving ourselves. India happens to be ruled by some Anna and Baba who provoke and dictate the countrymen with some false stories. Stories where at times Democracy dies while at others good men elected bad people. Among all this, ministers keep filling up their pockets.

My life , My rules.” karma my will “

“Work is worship”, I don’t know who said it. But the person said something which changed the life of millions around the world.By attaching ourselves to the law of karma ( Hindi term which means our doings). We can truly maintain better system of living which will be destined towards our development by professing rules of karma in our life.

Lord Krishna in “Geeta” (Spiritual Hindi text book) while designating his words to Arjuna his favorite archer and friend said to, Dear Arjun “Karm kar phal ki icha nahi kar” means (Arjun do the needful which is required and don’t expect the outcome).

What does he exactly meant by saying these words to Arjun ?

Though it’s very simple logic, you don’t expect the outcome of the work before hand, keep doing the required which is desired, expected or needed. The outcome will be there for you for sure.

Life for People including some great Personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Licoln, John kennedy, Mother Terresa had some objectives. No matter how much they needed to sacrifice to achieve them, they never backed out any single time.

The lifestyle of the people in today’s world is becoming too very leisure seeking. Everybody is running after the materialistic world . A Person position in the society is more regarded in terms of his monetary strength. Too much of desires are there for a person to fulfill . I am not saying that having desires regarding things of this world is bad or being rich and striving towards acquiring strong monetary strength is wrong .

However I am trying to stress on the too much factor and wrong, unethical and illegal means to acquire it. Man is losing his senses for morality and ethical features. Throughout the world there are cases of Government officials being bribed or Corruption in the various important departments. Crime rate is increasing every single day.

The question is how the rules of karma and self control helps an individual to achieve strength in his work and society as a whole? And what does Miles to go before I sleep mean?

The attachment to karma itself demands you to profess self control in your life. How?

The answer is, once you are devoted towards achievement or attainment of certain goals or objectives in your life, it is highly likely that you will come across deviations, and these deviations just arouse from the attraction towards worldly pleasures and desires. Then it becomes necessary in this status that you must be equipped with weapon of self control to overpower these deviations, the acts of person start tilting towards the materialistic designs, the actual problem arose when in absence of self control, the acts of the person start becoming immoral, unethical and illegal at times for the sake of minting money and fulfilling his desires . That is why corruption is increasing like anything and People are losing faith even in the judiciary in some of the countries including India.

In the age of over 60, Mahatma Gandhi marched miles to the shore for breaking the Law on Salt against the British Government (The incident in the history is famous with the name of Dandi March). When I was reading the auto biography of the Mahatma Gandhi (His book, “My Life”). I came across lot of instances where I felt that the power of will can really overpower the power of body and mind. In the age of over 60, Mahatma Gandhi marched miles which showed the world the power of strong will and mental strength of that character.

The point is that we are lessening down upon our internal strength to fight the evils of this world. The whole life he professed the lifestyle consisting the laws of karma, self control and spirituality. The dedication and devotion towards our work keeps us focused upon our goals to achieve in life. It strengthens the internal mechanism of our body to fight the evils and to overpower the deviations which comes in our way.

In the modern day scenario, where the industrial world is showering its expensive gifts to the society in the form of leisurely living. The attraction of man stays towards acquiring the leisure, pleasure and fulfilling his desires. Self control provides a mechanism in this case to fight the senses and provide a feeling of self satisfaction to required extent. It also monitors our acts and actions towards other beings and keeps away the shadows of negative thoughts entering our mind. Our goals, ambitions and targets stay protected from the infliction of any harm or corrupting acts.

The non expectation of the outcome allows us to stay focused and sticking to our goals in life. I will go miles before i sleep by inculcating the system of life which consists of the rules or Karma, coupling with the mechanism of self control to achieve my objectives by professing white color means and focusing my life towards societal, personal and global development. Are you people ready to join me?

Are you convinced by the thought in the matter?

Yes

No

There can be different other ways .

Never got anything . Crap ! we dont need it .

Sex ,drugs and rock n roll is the best way out .

corruption is right way of living .

COVER STORY OF JAN LOKPAL

Indiatoday is facing a widespread disease in its administrative government functioning known as CORRUPTION. The very prevalence of the disease is due to its nature and strength to influence the human mind. It poses a challenge to the moral, ethical and behavioural conduct of humans.
It has a fascination towards the human social needs and an ability to penetrate through the system quickly which lacks a strong mechanism to fight and curb it. This can threat a country’s dignity and reputation. In spite of all the efforts towards making the government administrative functions free from its spread, it has been receiving overwhelming figures in scams every year. The very question stands, that where is the loophole or if an appropriate antidote has been devised till date to fight the menace? The answer is “yes”, the antidote has been devised long back and it is the Lok Pal Bill. To understand the very functioning and nature of the Lok Pal, one definitely has to go through its base in the Constitution of India and its very nature. Let us have a look at the present and proposed Lok Pal bill of the Civil Society and its difference, also eventual effect upon the system.
EXISTING SYSTEM-
• -No politician or senior officer ever goes to jail despite huge evidence because  Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) and CBI directly come under the government.
• –Before starting investigation or initiating prosecution in any case, they have to take permission from the same bosses, against whom the case has to be investigated.
• -No corrupt officer is dismissed from the job because Central Vigilance Commission, which is supposed to dismiss corrupt officers, is only an advisory body. Whenever it advises government to dismiss any senior corrupt officer, its advice is never implemented.
• -No action is taken against corrupt judges because permission is required from the Chief Justice of India to even register an FIR against corrupt judges. Nowhere to go – People expose corruption but no action is taken on their complaints.
• -There is so much corruption within CBI and vigilance departments. Their functioning is so secret that it encourages corruption within these agencies.
• -Weak and corrupt people are appointed as heads of anti-corruption agencies. •-Citizens face harassment in government offices. Sometimes they are forced to pay bribes. One can only complaint to senior officers. No action is taken on complaints because senior officers also get their cut.
• –Nothing in law to recover ill gotten wealth. A corrupt person can come out of jail and enjoy that money.
• -Small punishment for corruption- Punishment for corruption is minimum 6 months and maximum 7 years
.

SYSTEM PROPOSED BY CIVIL SOCIETY-

• –Lokpal at centre and Lokayukta at state level will be independent bodies. ACB and CBI will be merged into these bodies. They will have power to initiate investigations and prosecution against any officer or politician without needing anyone’s permission
• –Investigation should be completed within 1 year and trial to get over in next 1 year. Within two years, the corrupt should go to jail.
• –Lokpal and Lokayukta will have complete powers to order dismissal of a corrupt officer. CVC and all departmental vigilance will be merged into Lokpal and state vigilance will be merged into Lokayukta.
• –Lokpal & Lokayukta shall have powers to investigate and prosecute any judge without needing anyone’s permission.
• –Lokpal & Lokayukta will have to inquire into and hear every complaint.
• -All investigations in Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be transparent. After completion of investigation, all case records shall be open to public. Complaint against any staff of Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be inquired and punishment announced within two months.

• –Politicians will have absolutely no say in selections of Chairperson and members of Lokpal & Lokayukta. Selections will take place through a transparent and public participatory process.
• –Lokpal & Lokayukta will get public grievances resolved in time bound manner, impose a penalty of Rs 250 per day of delay to be deducted from the salary of guilty officer and award that amount as compensation to the aggrieved citizen.
• -Loss caused to the government due to corruption will be recovered from all accused.
• –Enhanced punishment – The punishment would be minimum 5 years and maximum of life imprisonment.

THE VERDICT-

Now if we make an evaluation of the proposals of the civil society , a very effective bill has been proposed taking into consideration the very nature and aspects of the corruption in the Government administration , the point that has to be noted here are very clearly mentioned in the draft itself , that the bodies like CBI and ACB will be made independent of the government administrative control , hence making them more liberal and free in carrying out the investigation proceedings against the government officials and politicians. Moreover, Lok Pal has been made much more powerful in terms of taking any immediate action after the establishment of the facts against the officer concerned. He has been conferred the powers of their dismissal which is not present in the existing system .Lok Pal can initiate inquiry against judges accused of misconduct/misbehaviour without the consent of the Chief Justice. The investigative proceedings have been kept extremely transparent in nature. It is clearly stated that after the investigations transparency will be maintained and all the records will be made public (also through the website). The selection of the Lok Pal at the centre and the Lok Ayukt at the state level will be transparent and with public participation. With the whole process being transparent and in the public domain, there will be no room for any confidentiality of the matter under investigation and henceforth leaving no room for corruption to take place. Under the new draft proposed by the civil society , specific provisions have been kept for recovery of misappropriated money . The Punishment has also been increased to a minimum of 5 years and max life imprisonment. Therefore, it is pertinent that a strong draft has been prepared and the intentions of the draft makers have been very serious towards curbing corruption in all the areas, i.e. procedure, process and punishment.

I leave it for the readers now to pose questions and queries regarding this and initiate a room for discussion as to which system would be better or rather to say that which antidote will work much effectively.

Go Anna Free!

let’s Go Carbon Free, Go Sugar Free, Go Cholesterol Free and Let’s Go Anna Free for now.

It’s not about the first, second or even third page, but Anna has reached still the tenth page of the daily journals. Name it and he is there, from newspapers in different languages to the various magazines and blogs like the present one “ANNA ANNA AANA”.

Questions are many, solutions are few. For some, he has instilled the tablets of patriotism for the nation while for others he has recalled the lost Gandhian principles. I often wonder if Gandhi Ji would be sitting in the heaven reading journals comprising all about Anna, would wear a T-shirt with a funky quote on it “I Love Anna” like people do for Salman and Sharukh. The answer has been simple; no person could read better the psychology of a human mind than what these media-men do.

They have bought the Anna ink from the cheap Wholesale market and have further gone endless in printing journals out of it. There has been a stock market that has crashed, British office being attacked in Afghanistan, Dhoni & Co ready to make a 0-4 and a new version of Swift to be launched soon by Maruti Suzuki.

Even the guardian and the economist in London have started mentioning him. Anna has been a hot cup for daily bulletin, but certainly it’s not a fight for nation interest, but describing what is national interest.

Is the voice against the corruption prevalent a matter of national interest or the voice against the elected government?

Certainly, the present day Journalist has inflicted the minds of their reader. They are no more a thinker in the present day society; they have been hard on reading text which may infuse their thinking bulbs.

It’s not wise, to relate this old socialist activist having some affiliations with other political parties, but he has been hard on the present-day Congress from the state-level to the centre. The issue is not in relation with it a political party, but has Anna being trying to relate himself with ‘Anarchism’.

It’s no secret that one single person has shivered the Prime Minister’s Office, no secret he fights for a noble cause, no secret he is doing something which should have been done by someone amongst us. Has he taken the right track or would his sheer arrogance disturb the Indian Society for even worse. Columns have been filled while one-minute bulletin flashes with slogans like, “Fight for Corruption” and “Death of Democracy” but no great has analyzed the impact of Jan LokPal Bill. How good it would be to bring Prime Minister’s Office? Won’t it kill the independence of Judiciary?

Let’s command our brains to think, let’s command our souls to be stir, let’s command our eyes to see. Let’s not follow others blindly, let’s bring our own perception. Candle-lights are not a solution, but just a perception and support towards one form of solution that one attains.
GO Anna Free!!!

ANNA for No ANN… ANSHAN

CAPITAL CALLING.. ANNA CALLING.. MASS AGITATION.. GATHER AT INDIA GATE.. BLACK OUT AT 20:00..WEAR BLACK.. STRIKE ON ROADS

The Anna,s issue has stricken like  hype in networks and like network jams in wifi college campuses during peak time.

The question here is about  HUMANITY

Welcome to the nation of  330 million gods,  i.e. INDIA

A short test for youth:-

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT SOME WERE DOWN THE LINE YOU WERE INVOLVED IN CORRUPTION?

Oh come on actually once in or life time we have surely been that might be even for a payment of driving licences or pan card numbers

If not you, then surely our closest family member..? No issues in that..

But the test for your humanity is that still for the NATION’S SAKE YOU are ready for LOKPAL AND YOU PROMISE that if found GUILTY thenYOU ARE READY TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES. ARN’T YOU??

Then why is the government not challenging our prime prime  Prime Minister Sir?
THE ANSWER LIES HERE..

An extract of talks between fear stricken fellow MP’s.

“Finally people are becoming sensitive, everyone is joining Anna in his Freedom Fight against the slavery of Corrupts and Looters. At any cost we can’t show our will to pass the bill otherwise whole nation will come to know we are in the spider-net of corruption made by us.”

And to conclude this article is written just to make the YOUTH so much secure that even if our beloved

ANNA FASTS OR  NOT WE GOT TO KEEP THE ISSUE OF LOKPAL ABOVE EVERYTHING ,EVEN IF OUR BELOVED ANNA JI IS HURT OR HE IS ILL OR IS JAILED, WE SHOULD NEVER MOVE TO TAKE A VIOLENT STEP BECAUSE THIS IS THE MAIN THING WHICH THE RUTHLESS RULING PARTY WANT THAT WE MISTAKE AND THEY SWAY THE STAGE

BE NONVIOLENT BE SECURED BE STABLE….WISH ANNA A GOOD HEALTH
